When you have babies it can be tough to get out of the house to go shopping and if you’ve ever shopped with a child you know what I’m talking about.
When our three year old Penelope was born we invested in organic cloth diapers and covers because we found they were safer and less of a hit to the environment. An added plus was the money that we saved in disposable diapers!
Later, when Eden was born we chose to go the same route but she has had super sensitive skin since the day she was born. Very quickly we realized that cloth diapers were not going to be a good fit for her as she kept getting rashes and even fungus in the first month after she was born!
We’re really against diapers that are made with chlorine bleaching which produces a biproduct called dioxins that are highly carcinogenic and can cause many other problems with liver, reproductive health, endocrine, etc.
I won’t get into all that but we were led to try Honest Brand diapers and LOVED them!
Eden hasn’t had any rashes since we switched to them and the prints are adorable! The rose prints are my favorite.
Every holiday they have cute holiday prints to choose from and they send free birthday themed diapers on their birthday!
I have a recurring bundle set up through their website which I can set to recur every 4, 5 or 6 weeks.
I get 7 packs of diapers and 4 packs of wet wipes delivered straight to my door.
I add over night pull-ups for my 3 year old and an extra pack of wipes for 25% off.
Penelope LOVES the unicorn and the fairy pull-ups the most.
I read online that there were leaks with the Honest diapers but we personally haven’t experienced that.
So if you’re looking for a safer diaper and wipe alternative for your babies you should definitely give Honest a try.
The free shipping, cute designs and free delivery are all just super sweet bonuses.
Plus, my babies love tearing into the box and then playing with it once a month when our deliveries come. Most children love playing with empty boxes and for us it’s like getting a free bonus toy.
And if you would rather never change diapers at all, I support you in your right to let them run around naked and go numbers one and two wherever.
